A9063 – LAND 4502 Phase 1 – RAAF Base Townsville

The project involved providing the necessary facilities to service the addition of three (3) new CH-47F aircraft to the RAAF Base Townsville.  This $50M (construction budget) project involved the construction of a new building within an existing Defence facility.  Tying in with existing floor levels, inground services and other infrastructure was required to integrate the new facility with the existing.  An extension to the existing carpark was required to house the new personnel associated with the facility.

One hundred percent of the civil and structural engineering component of the project was completed by LCJ Engineers in Townsville.  To date all submission deadlines and milestones have been successfully achieved. Revit was used for the structural modelling and documentation with civil design utilising Civil 12D.

As demonstrated by achieving design deliverables on this project, LCJ Engineers has sufficient resources and capacity to complete multi-million-dollar projects.
