LCJ Engineers’ role in this marine project involved determining a range of design vessel including the berthing energies for use at Berth 1. This included determining fender geometry including lowest tide and highest tide, fender selection, pile dimensions and reaction forces. Protective coatings for the fenders was a significant consideration for this harsh marine environment.
