LCJ Engineers has completed condition assessments of the Cairns Naval Wharf and associated pontoon berth located on the upstream side of the wharf, the new pontoon landing downstream of the covered wharf and the Sugar Wharf on an annual basis since 2016. Inspections have consisted of a combination of above and below deck inspections by means of punts and divers. This reporting assists Defence in planning maintenance and repair work over a five-year period.
