The proposed renovation and extension of this house at this hillside location involved the removal of the existing roof structure over approximately half of the house and the construction of a new storey, featuring extensive glazing and a cantilever balcony. The existing ground floor was remodeled and an additional deck area was added with a new pool with wet edge and infinity edge that completes the remodeling.
At the 2019 Master Builders Awards – North Queensland, this project was awarded the following:
