St Benedict’s Catholic College

St Benedict’s Catholic School at Greater Ascot, Shaw is a relatively new school catering to students from kindergarten to Year 6.

LCJ Engineers has been involved in this school from feasibility, masterplanning and design through to construction of the most recent Stage 2, due for completion in 2020.

All the civil infrastructure and building pads including the access road, bus turning facility and car parking were designed and documented by LCJ Engineers.  We have also designed and documented all the buildings on site with the exception of the Atco-style buildings of which we designed the footings.

LCJ Engineers was also responsible for the traffic engineering assessment of the site.  An analysis was conducted based on the proposed stages of the school to determine the intersection requirements of the school access to Dalrymple road.

Based on this assessment LCJ Engineers designed and documented the current intersection and provided advice on when this intersection may need to be upgraded.
